Data Sources

• CDC Case surveillance data, Health Alert Network (HAN) notices, and disease outbreak updates from cdc.gov.
• WHO Disease Outbreak News (DON) and global health alerts from who.int.
• Case data Historical U.S. case counts are sourced from CDC's published surveillance summaries and updated annually.

Update Cadence

The official updates feed is refreshed multiple times daily via CDC and WHO RSS feeds. Historical case data is updated when CDC publishes new annual surveillance summaries.
